An automated call listed as Sydney. Stated it was from Westpac, who I do actually bank with (this could be the catch!). That said, I am not passing over my details (I hung up after it asked me to confirm who I was) to an automated voice! A reasonable chance it was spam, as a proper bank should not be asking for your details using an automated message.

When answered a computer voice from "Westpac" says your name and asks for your date of birth. Hung up and contacted Westpac through the official channels and they confirmed this phone number does not belong to them nor would they contact their customers in this way. Leaves no voicemail, can also call from "00 0000" or as "Private Number"

I believe (02) 8488 4935 is linked to Concentrix who call on behalf of some banks to chase up debts.

This is a scam. I have called Westpac and they confirmed it as such. Do not answer or reply.

Similar to other comments here. Emailed Westpac and gave details of the calls with request to check no breech on my account.

Automated voice giving my complete and full name saying they are from Westpac. Feels like a scam, and makes me wonder if Westpac has had a breach?

Numerous calls from this number over the last few days, claiming to be Westpac. I called Westpac to verify and they advised number wasnt theirs. They then checked my account to coincidentally find there were several suspicious attempts to debit my card.

Dont answer, block the number and call the bank if you are with Westpac!!

Automatic call from ,"Westpac" ask you to confirm you are the person being called by name or asks you to get that person to the phone. Press one then asks you to confirm your date of birth. Also says to call another number 1300 550 174 but this says its "Westpac" bur it has the some automated loop. Obviously a Scam but they seem to have some records attached to you phone number you call in on. Scam call was to my mobile and home number

I called back number (02) 8488 4935 reached IVR for a company called Westpac.

Phone signalled call as suspected spam. Did not answer. They've called 4 times today - each time signalled as spam. They are persistent! Checked here to confirm spam. Blocked, deleted and reported.

This number has attempted to call me more than 6 times in the past 2 days. The number was already blocked from numerous calls about a month ago, where they didn't leave a message. Also calling at all hours of the day.

This is definitely a spam caller and not Westpac. Continously call our main switchboard number which can't block callers. Such a nuisance!!!!!
