block this number they are calling all the time then hanging up when I go to answer the phone.

Well in that case it is ok for them to steal my money especially as most of it would go to the company and not them anyway...

I subscribe online to a magazine for my boy's birthday present (they strongly recommend providing phone number in case there are delivery problems) and next thing I know these people are calling to sell him funeral insurance - very unimpressed

Gr8 advice Jayne - countering the stress of being hassled / assaulted by your own phone by having a bit of sport with the offenders giving back what they dish out does feel good for a moment - like that Seinfeld episode where he asked for a telemarketer's home phone number so he could call them back. Gold, Jerry, gold! I also tracked down the main office number of that Trent Park - Park Trent whatever property Group - a serial telecommunication assault machine - got an email address - sent them a stern letter - copied in the ombudsman and offered to publicize their phone assaults, abuse and invasion of privacy across social media - did not get a call for 6 months - until yesterday...

Funny that, same thing just happened to me. Cancelled an insurance policy with "AIA" through "Lifebroker" & now these idiots are calling me trying to sell me funeral insurance...

Just called then, wanting to sell me insurance which I told him I already had. Talked a million miles a minute had to talk over him because he didn't shut up. And wouldn't tell me how they got my phone number.

Just a call now; sounded like the caller was in a busy shopping centre or on the street? Anyway got hello, hello a few times and no response to me saying my name. So I hung up

Called me midday, never left a message.
Feels sooo good getting a phone call that's not a job opportunity.

what is the point of this app if a blocked number can still ring me!

Block the number or they will call more frequently if you just don't answer
