Scam telling elderly people that they are from the Australian Taxation Office

I have received about 2 a week for over past 3 weeks from Kelly Wiseman(?), allegedly from ATO and inviting you to ring back if you want to know more - which I don't, of course!

i am holidaying in Canada and this number called me 7 times during the night, lucky i had it on silence.

Caller: PC Market Research

I got a call from (02) 8416 8037. I called back the number and got a message that it was PC market research. Sounds like a scam to me as I my number is on the Do Not Call Registrar

I didn't answer and the voicemail left was a recorded voice asking me who I would vote for in the federal election if it was held today and was saying press 1 for ... 2 for ... etc

Had call from this number who said it is Tony Abbott here (obviously a message)
As soon as I heard that I hung up.

When I answered there was just silence. Looked it up here and saw that the number is dodgy. Blocked!

Call from a woman (not a recording) purporting to be phoning on behalf of the "no" campaign in the SSM debate. She wanted to discuss my vote and the reasons for my vote. Not good!

Recieved several calls from this number and listened to a female American voice recording with the name Kelly Watson, firstly saying there was an issue with last years tax return and later saying there was a warrant out for my arrest. It's too bad these scum bags don't get caught and get too many people falling for their bullsh*t.

(02) 8416 8037 . . . . They are at it again in NSW (Bulahdelah). Scam call received today threatening arrest warrant issued. Total BS

they left me a message that this call was from ATO and i should call them back because i have an error with my tax when i called back they start asking questions.. refused to answer anything.
i do not think we protected enough while we are in the country imagine if we go overseas. God Help us

Usual threats of legal proceeding's pending against you if you don't respond.
Its a scam from the usual try hard parasites that is intended to intimidate you
into paying alleged overdue tax. You will notice that it is a recording, whether you answer or a message is left, That's because they haven't got the ball's to actually talk to you, Just tired of being told to get a life I suppose. Just laugh them off & ignore them.

I received the same phone call this morning with a recorded message from the supposedly ATO (Bull S#$T)
I called the number back and when i asked who they were and were they were calling from they quickly hung up!

Same here today and reported to ATO;
Watch out email saying there is an issue in regards to your tax return refund with an attachment asking you to input your personal details;

Got the same call today.. dont answer
