I called back number (02) 8396 1378 reached IVR for a company called Hi Pages.

Be very careful of these guys ... very slippery... sound like a crowd who used to "work" by faxing and "checking company details" back in the day.. I fell for it at the time... got ugly with demands for payments for "advertising" which they claimed i had authorized ...Office address was dubai and a hongkong bank acct. Threats of legal action and all sorts of stuff. Referred the matter to ACCC. Scammers.

I've blocked this number but they call every month on the 4th. (I get a notification that they rang & their call was auto rejected)

they buy bulk GUMTREE listings so they now more about you than a phone number,, be careful with them.

They rung my company twice within the space of 30 seconds asking for a company called urban movers who ive never heard of. Probably another one of these dodgy overseas call centers trying to spam people

I just received a call from this number I am absolutely sure he said he was Jay from Yellow Pages - very interesting to see that it's actually hipages sounds very similar if you say it out loud with a foreign accent. Anyway wanted to offer me 21 days free listing for our Business then it would cost $298 annually. Sounded dodge so I didn't commit.

got a call today. about listing my business on their site. She didn't give me a chance to ask any questions, i had to butt in at the end then their wasn't much of a reply.
They had all my details i asked there they got them she said they have a dedicated research team to find people's details.
very interesting be careful.

They call and call. no messages. people dont answer. the hipages web site is like a hore traddie web site. a big timer waister web site.

they want me to sign up with them. The customer takes the lowest quote them they take their cut out of that.

They do not offer anything for you. You have a chance of getting a job against everyone else, except most customers are fishing & you will only catch a cold plus the bill. They cannot loose.
