(02) 8378 7918 is 100% a scammer.. these scammers are now just being annoying.. numbers blocked each time but they by pass this by changing one digit on their number.. also its all different reasons now, there must be a scam call centre where my number is being passed to different team members to call daily lol.. quite funny actually keep going guys alot of fun for me

Number not known to me so I checked reverse aust and now from previous comments that its scam call.

Why do we pay taxes when the Government won't do anything to deal with these scammers and protect us from the constant onslaught!!!

This is what they said: "This is a government initiative replacing LED lights. Can you please tell me how many LED lights you have in your home?"
I responded with "no thank you, bye."

I called back number (02) 8378 7918 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Whoever calls from this Sydney number does not respect the Do Not Call Registry, in direct violation of Australian law. They will not cease calling from this number (and variants of it) soliciting either charity donations, promoting energy efficiency schemes or lottery products. Very high risk of scam/fraud and identity theft. Best to report to ACMA as the person/s and business behind these repeated violations are Australian (caller has a 100% Australian accent, not foreign).
Australian businesses engaging in this type of behaviour need to be reported and penalised for ignoring Australian law!

Probably a recorded message which, as mentioned above, started with: Hi my name is Lisa Collins from My Charity Survey... at which point I hung up.

Now blocked.

And just like the MELBOURNE TEAM that needs to be handled by DO NOT DISTURB "OPS", so should these guys be disturbed night and day... Cheers 🥂 To the Telephone Police should they take this challenge on... PLEASE HELP TO RESTORE MY PHONE LINE, AS I HAVE PLACED A PHONE DISCONNECTED MESSAGE ON BOTH MY LANDLINE & MOBILE... Thank goodness I'm a mere Loner with my carer... I feel sad for those who haven't a clue, due to old age, who cannot solve this in the modern sense?

This was my experience but i played along a little longer, being very carful not to say "Yes" to anything. It was as you experienced pre recorded lines on a voice box to give answers.

Lady with Aussie accent but strange monotone said she was Lisa Collins and was doing a charity survey. I said I did not want my number given out to charities and the voice said sorry to inconvenience you and hung up. It sounded very much like recorded robotic answers so I hope I wasn’t on the line too long to any thing bad to have happened. I think it was definitely a scam of some sort, very suspicious.

What's the point of being on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER Registering was a complete waste of time as I'm getting 4+ of these calls weekly. Get a bloody real job you bunch of losers!!!!!

Didn't leave a message when I refused to answer. Splitters. Must be a scam. My number is registered with the DNC, but nothing can/is done to them. One fine is all it takes to put a stop to scam calls, but when purchased from third parties ...........

I answered and it just went silent and hung up,I tried ringing back but it rang and then disconnected,so annoying as they phoned dead on neal time

What a pest - need a law to charge these parasites for being a nuisance!

Every time I said something. They responded the same way. Like I don’t want to do give my email out “oh, ok”. Do you want to. Even with me sneezing heaps, no bless you or anything. She kept on asking in the same monotone voice.
