I called back number (02) 8378 7912 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Caller: Nbn scam

Nbn scam call advising there’s been suspicious activity. I asked how do I verify this is true they gave me phone number 1800 726 905 which is a closed telstra number obviously trying to look legit. Called his bluff and he hung up. This is a scam.

Caller: Scam/phishing call

Caller claiming to be from Amazon Prime re video subscription service.

As soon as you answer it - it calls the number back and there is no one on the other end. Super annoying!

caller has a very heavy indian accent - really hard to hear what he wants. basically he says i have an amazon prime subscription on the phone and its due for payment. if i dont wish to continue, let him know and he will help me do it using other devices i have. how stupid! plus i dont even have amazon prime app on the phone he called.

I didn't answer the call, a voice mail message was not left and when I called back, blocking my number was told the number was not in use.
