scam saying they are from telstra wonting to know about my internet and if i pay my bill

I just got a call from this same number saying Telstra detected someone has hacked into my internet from my device. I’m not even with telstra. So I asked what I needed to do and he asked for my computer id (whatever he was asking i wasnt clear). So i stopped talking and googled up this phone number. I. The mean time he hung up. So it must definitely be a scam

Said they are from Telstra and having technical difficulties and then hung up!!

Caller: (02) 8353 6264

Called saying its a call about my Telstra internet. Stated I don't have anything with Telstra, then he stated well how do you log in with your ID etc. I hung up. Scam for sure.

Never leaves a message. A definite scam.

Said he was from Telstra - they are not my provider
