Caller: Foxtel

I called this number back and received an automated voice message saying "Thank you for returning this call about a great opportunity from Foxtel" and then I hung up as I have just cancelled my Foxtel subscription within the last week.

Similar experience to above on April 15, 2026. Good to know that when they dialed 02 8348 3285 is was idendtified as a Foxtel recorded message. I had just cancelled my Foxtel subscription on Tuesday May 19th, 2026 using their 131999 number. The Call Taker, Leigh, took 19 minutes to cancel my subscription while puting me on hold a number of times then telling me they can reduce my monthly payment and that they have new content coming. I said no thanks, I'm retired and I'm more than happy with YouTube. After doing her best to make me keep my subscription going, finally after 19 mins. she said it was done. Then two days later Thursday May 21st I had two missed calls in the afternoon on my phone from, 02 8348 3285, no messages were left. Then the next day, Friday 22nd at 11:52am, another missed call from 02 8348 3285 and no message. Later in the day at 4:50pm I received a Voicemail message without the phone ringing prior to this. I dialled the voicemail number on my phone and got just over 5 minutes of silence before Voicemail gave me the option to keep or delete. Normally I would just hang up but wanted to see how long they would keep the recorded message going for. See what next week brings?
