Pure scam. Targeting Chinese speakers (I answered two calls) but I also got Thai in there as well on one answer. Yes I answer them to provide PSAs here and elsewhere as these dolts give me the proverbial emptying bowel contents.

And then it said my phone account with XXXX (my service provider) would be closed in 2 hours!

Scammers, recorded message about an epidemic, chooses 1 for English and 2 For Chinese , spoofed phone number.

Showed the location was Sydney, Australia. Call time was 11:55am. I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message.

Automated female voice message saying they were commonwealth bank and a charge of $1800 has been placed, press 1 if incorrect, or press 2 to process. This is fake. No transaction made.

Caller: Caller from Microsoft

Caller stated she was from Microsoft and my IP address was changed by hackers from Private to Public and they were receiving a large amount of errors from my computer - wanted me to log in and check. Told her both my laptops need charging and no one could possibly have charged my settings as the comports have not been used for over 6 months. I did however ask her to please stay on the line for another minute or 2 so the Federal Police Cyber Control could access their location and take hold of their computers - she hung up.

I did not answer, no message was left.

Got a call from this number today - left a message in what I assume was Chinese. I blocked them.

Recorded message saying they were calling from Immigration and there was an urgent document to be signed. Didn't finish listening to the call after that

said i had urgent notification from immigration office

Didnt pick up but they left a voice notes saying something about emergency document documents. Was very vague about it. Then for some reason also spoke in mandarin? very likely a scam
