This is definitely a dodgy caller. I tried to call the number back and all I got was a female voice saying "goodbye". Accent was not distinguishable.

The person called asking for my child. He identified himself as Jason and when I asked where he was from he stated "Consumer Claims Hotline".

I called back number (02) 8317 3291 rang once then goes to busy tone.

By any ethical measure this is a scam. Have reported to scamwatch.gov.au

I had heard about this scam so I kept them going for a long time about a fake accident, how pleased I was that they called blah blah blah. I then suggested they must have known about the accident or why else would they call me. She said they called everyone just to see if they had an accident!!!!! I then told them I would report the number to the police and hung up. At least it kept my colleagues entertained! I don't think they will call again.

just got there call didn't answer came to this site... and wont answer if they ring again... so sick of con artists over the phone rarely answer if i don't know the number

I get hangup number repeatedly on mobile. I have never replied to it and won't. It's got to be a scam. If it was genuine they would leave message. Just press delete.

Guy called Duran, claiming he was from South Africa, sounded Indian. Told me I was due for compensation due to a recent accident or trip in a shopping centre. Has called 6 times in the last month. This is the first time I answered. I told him it sounded like a scam. He disagreed. Dodgy call but they'll keep calling until you answer.

Had another call from this number. There was a delay once I answered the call before a woman with an accent spoke. I didn't stay on the phone to hear more.

This number called as if they were an employment agency - very dodgy! Have called several times...

constantly calling me and i have no debt and they are wanting $1100 from me. Fraud company on a mission to make money i think.

These bastards keep calling me! I have no debts, I've done nothing wrong - I don't know why they're harassing me! I never answer unknown numbers.

Was claiming to be a small claims person making sure that I have received my claims from insurance for an accident that I had earlier. I haven't had any accident. Was fishing for information. Dodgy. Have reported it to true caller and is now blocked on my phone.
