missed calls from this number.

what wrong with the india idiot have nothing better to do and all they do all day and make scam call and no one in Australia gov give a dame about it

Another scam call centre unfortunately.

Have had a call from this number a few times over the last few weeks. Sometimes it is an automated machine when I answer. This time the male with a UK accident said he was from ‘follow up services’, he knew my name and asked if I had experience a road accident in the last 12 months. I responded with ‘I don’t think that’s a question that’s any of your business or you should be asking me’ he hung up on me. Be careful as they may be wanting to record you saying ‘yes’ to use it for other authorisations over the phone. I blocked this number.

Rang and asked if i had experienced vehicle damage in the last year. Lost of background noise, foreign accent.

Just had a missed call from (02) 8317 1288. When I called back a man with an Irish accent answered and said "follow up services". I said "follow up services from whom" and he said "did you just have a missed call from us" when I said I did and asked from which company he was calling he said he was following up to see if I'd had a motor vehicle accident in the last 12 months. I said "no I haven't. I'm not interested in this conversation. Dont call again" and hung up.

I started to get these calls after i went online searching for holiday insurance so the companies must be selling details

Polite woman with Irish accent who said her name was Hailey rang and asked if I had been in a car accident over last 12 months. Said she was from Follow up services.
Loud background noise.Just like others above. Scam

Thank goodness I found this thread! I’ve been getting the calls aswell & blocked the number immediately. Tried to call back numerous times & engaged.

same as above, I said I couldn't hear her because of all the background noise and she hung up on me

Dodgy scammers. Uk accent. Asked if i reported any scrapes or dings in last 12 months.

They rang on Australia day and apologised if they were interrupting my festivities. Knew my name and asked if i had any car damage in the last 12 months which i said i had not then they asked if i had many cars and i said i didn't have any and they kept talking but the call was disconnected.

There was some background noise and he spoke with an english accent. I can't recall him saying where he was ringing from thouhh

Same as the above, received a call from this number a guy with an Irish accent said his name was Ian and he was calling about a bump or accident I had in the last 12 months, I said sorry where are you calling from and he said follow up services, I said no sorry I haven’t had an accident. He said sorry to have bothered you but... then I hung up. Checked this site, many others received this call. Obviously scamming.

Same with me - she said she wanted to talk to me about a car accident I've had in the last 12 months, but I haven't had any. Told her that the information was wrong and hung up - have blocked the number.

Asked me if I was involved in car accident and I said yes.

Asked him whats your website address to which he replied with some address ending .org.au and he claimed that he is from the Government so I asked him that you should have.gov.au website to which he replied this is the website we have.

Asked him if he has called me to give me a new car since I was involved in car accident :)

Blocked his number and have never received any phone call.

Calls the same time every day. No messages left. When attempting to call the number back returns busy signal. Best to block!

Told me I was involved in an accident or my vehicle was 10 mins ago, to which I responded that this is a scam, lady with Irish accent said, oh we wont bother you again, I have been having missed calls from this no at weird times of day and finally decided to answer..my advice do not give them any information. I am reporting it to scam watch.
