Motor Vehicle Insurance scam. Looking to acquire information about a car accident I was a part of in the last 12 months.

I had a similar phone call a few months ago

Claiming to be ringing about Car Accident I had in last 12 months - I had none - I have reported them to Consumer affairs - well known scam.

I called back number (02) 8311 1562 rang once then goes to busy tone.

These callers always seem to have Liverpool accents!

Rang once and advised no operater available to speak to me then it hung up. I have had a call like the one about the Car accident a few years ago and I did actually have a car accident but was all resolved already.

They called claiming that i had a MVA.
I had none. Quite dubious

Indian-assented woman... waited a while after I picked up the phone ... didn't ask to speak to anyone ... I asked who she was after ... hung up.

I do not have a car and I do not drive... if it is about motor car insurance, it should be their express car to hell...
