called our business. wanted to speak to the owner and then i said they arent in. he wanted to discuss marketing for the business. i stated we have marketing majors and then he claimed we have a virus shutting down our website. utter bull sh*t. just block their number.

Caller stated that my boss had handed him a business card and told him to call on a Thursday or Friday. Stated he was from Metaweb. Using telephone no (02) 8310 8089. When asked where did he meet the boss he could not tell me. Said boss wanted to talk to him about marketing. Told him that he will not get though the gate keeper without sending an email first with their proposal. Business did not need marketing was rolling along quite well. When offered email address said he would get it off website - told him it is not there. Was not interested when he had been called out as a potential scam.

Called and keep on asking the business owner name. Ask him 6 times his name and from which company. HE COULD NOT ANSWER.

Called yesterday claiming to be from metaweb and notify they were in the area today to call in for a visit - when I called today to advise that we did not want a visit (Based on the answers here), the phone was answered by the same man claiming to be a company called Tricon. Advised did not want to hear about their services and he was very pushy - avoid.

Called saying he was wanting to speak about price updates. Wouldnt tell me what he wanted. Was extremely rude and only wanted to talk to the 'person in charge'. I suggest telling him to f*** off and be done with it

Wanted to speak with the boss about an e-commerce website. The Indian sounding gent said his name was Paul from MetaWeb. When Googled they're a crypto investment business. Business must be slow.
