Solar sales telemarketer with Indian accent or origin, possibly redirected through Sydney phone number

Caller: Indian call centre individual - poor connectivity

The only reason I picked up this call is because I was expecting calls for unknown numbers for other reasons, and I didn't have time to google this number. This is absolutely a cold call and I did not wait to understand the reasons or the 'scam' form this caller. If you see this number, I'm afraid you should just reject and block it.

I called back number (02) 8310 7792 reached IVR for Fx Leader.

Absolutely a scam, claimed to be from Optus and wanted all my personal details to give me a discount to my existing plan.

But I don't have any plan with Optus.

Call them a "benchod" to get the best reactions.

They told me I’d get 50% discount on my Telstra bills for 6 months for being a good customer.

Caller: Said from Telstra billing office

Offered 40%discount if I provided identification information. When I asked him to send confirmation to my email account he backed off. Pretty sure a scam.

Very bad scammer. I would like to inform Police about this number. As soon as I tried to ignore him he started abuse me.

3 way conversation for the duration of the phone call, they were wanting to make payment on behalf of a customers trading account. Left this number which does ring when you call it back.
