They leave a message to say they are going to issue me with a arrest warrant and that there is a problem with my tax and to ring this hotline number. I think I should be getting a letter from the ATO if that's the case. Don't ring back!!!

Asian guy called saying he was Officer James Brown. I told him he was full of sh*t and not an officer. He started talking sexually .. saying I wanted to suck his d*ck, I wanted to put his d*ck in my pussy ... and making sexual noises.
He hung up after my husband took over the phone.

Weekly calls with a very aggressive tone threatening arrest warrants and immediate hanging! I wish that this sort of thing could be stopped it is quite invasive. I only use my phone for the Internet so I have disconnected my handsets so I don't hear the phone ring any more so problem solved but it is ridiculous that people like that cant be stopped.

I also received a message saying there were anomalies with my tax and some reference to a warrant for my arrest if something wasn't done. I received the call today 20th January, a phone message.

An 'officer James Brown' called one of my clients to advise that they owed $90,000 of tax debts (not true) and that they hadn't lodged tax returns for 2010-2014 (also not true). Caller was very aggressive and said that my client will be behind bars soon, as they had an arrest warrant.

Although this lot leave (02) 8310 6707 as a return ATO number, they come up on screen as Overseas Private Number. Ignore

Three missed calls within 18 hours. Called back and was answered by "Australian Taxation Office", heavily accented. Had a good laugh before hanging up. Number now blocked so perhaps they will get the message.

claiming to be from the ATO saying our registered letters have been returned and we are at risk of a warrant being issued for our arrest. Hubby rang then back 4 different times and spoke to 4 different people. All are in call centres and when asked to identify themselves they hung up.
