They call me everyday at the same time, haven't answered because of the claims on here. Blocked. I've only signed petitions for World Animal Protection. They mustve had a security breach. Never give card details over the phone. - AnonymousFebruary 18, 2021Scam callAustralia

Did answer and didn’t call back but if it’s who everyone else says, I don’t know why they are ringing me as I’ve never associated my self with them in any way. - JodieFebruary 4, 2021UnknownAustralia
Caller: An animal organisation
I signed a petition and donated money and now I get calls every day asking to donate more. I think it's either rude to ask for more after I've already donated it's really off putting or it's a scam. I told them I never give details over the phone as it could be anybody and they still push and push it's sad as it is putting me off signing future petitions. Maybe its best to stick to only well known company's to sign up in future I'm thinking - Miss KittyJanuary 27, 2021UnknownAustralia
I missed the call so I don't know who it was from, they didn't leave a message and i didn't call the number back. - AnonymousJanuary 20, 2021UnknownAustralia
I'm so over this number calling me everyday and not leaving a message. My phone identifies it as potential scams/fraud so I never answer it. But I think it could be Virgin Money calling with yet another deal I don't want. - AnonymousDecember 17, 2020UnknownAustralia
I’m unsure if it’s scam or the real deal, but I know they got my number after I signed a FB petition with World Animal Protection. I told the caller I’d rather donate online, after the caller tried to convince me to do a payment plan over the phone. I found them to be very pushy, but didn’t think much of it. Then a week later, I’m being called every day by them. I feel pretty uncomfortable about it, so I blocked the number. I think I’ll just donate a one off online and never sign another FB petition. - AshNovember 6, 2020Non-profit OrganizationAustralia

Caller: World Animal Protection
They had said I had probably signed their petitions or liked their facebook page, and had asked me if I know about the Bear-baiting and explained it to me. Asked me for a monthly donation, I asked if a one off payment online was okay instead of over the phone and they referred me to the World Animal Protection website, though they asked me for my address still and I stupidly gave it to them. I do think it is World Animal Protection people however I would just say that you would rather do it online and not give them any information. - AnonymousSeptember 23, 2020UnknownAustralia

Caller: World Animal Protection
Said they were world animal protection and wanting me to making monthly donations. I asked how they got my number and she said and I quote “it doesn’t actually have written down how, maybe a survey, you might’ve given us money already or you liked us on Facebook”. I asked the lady if I can make donations online she said no. Funnily, i then hung up, googled World Animal Protection did a little researching and you’re able to donate online. She was asking for credit card details. SCAM! - AnonymousAugust 10, 2020UnknownAustralia

Pretty sure this number is a SCAM! I just picked up a call from them and they claim to be World Animal Protection but like someone else has commented, luckily I am pretty computer savvy and googled the number as I was talking to this woman, and I am glad I didn't give them my details now as I also discovered that this number that called me is not listed anywhere on the page they directed me to, as I was displaying signs of not wanting to give my banking details over the phone. I also asked if they have an option where they can email me a form for it and send it back with my details on it so I knew they were legit and they said they don't do that, so also more info me thinking it is in-fact a scam!! - World Animal ProtectionAugust 5, 2020Non-profit OrganizationAustralia
