Caller: Coles Credit Card - Financial Services

Yes, this is legit. I emailed them and they called me back on this number :)

Caller: Suncorp Dispute Team

At first I too thought it was a scam call but I phoned Suncorp and they confirmed it was legit. Obviously the number is used by multiple sources.

Caller: Said they were from Citibank

Missed call twice - only because it rings just twice and cuts off - and have some business going on so thought it might be important and called back. Looooong pause before some foreign accent spoke, I said I missed a call who were they? He said did you miss the call or refuse to answer? What the f... ??? I asked who they were, he said Citibank and did I have one of their credit cards? Answered maybe, why? He said tell me your credit card number and I'll find out why you were called. I asked him if he thought I was a total f*cking moron and who was going to give my card details to some random caller and he hung up. They should be referred to the police.

Thank you for your advice I have been getting the same number.. They are saying they are from coles...I am ignoring them but they are so persistance and annoying

Said they were Coles Financial Services. I didn't believe them but they said I could call Coles FS and there would be a note on my file. I called the Coles number on my MasterCard and, yes, there was a note on my file. (About a fault I had logged about the mobile app.)

Got a call and caller wanted to give them our details before they told us what call was about…

Legitimate call - Coles Financial Services left a message to call the customer service number on the back of my credit card - turns out my credit card had been reported lost and they wanted to let me know

Missed call and called back because this is a business phone TOTAL scam lady answered & said she was from coles credit card, other comments say Suncorp insurance, coles financial service, ATO List goes on I’ve now blocked the number

Phone rings once then stops.
Has rung a couple of times today.

Was silent for good 15 seconds after I answered but didn't say anything as precausion. A woman with foreign accent. Sounded very unprofessional. Bad line. I said she had wrong number and then I hung up. I blocked this number now. Regret I answered it.

Caller: Australian Taxation Office

A total scam - a woman with a foreign accent said those is the Australian Taxation Office I regret to inform you.....’ at which point I hung up. I am a self funded retiree and don’t pay tax and have already completed my 19/20 tax return and had it verified by the actual ATO - so - scam scam scam. Good try better luck next time. If you get any call from this number do not answer.

Caller refuses to say why she is ringing until i 'verify my details'. I have complained to coles financial services previously but nil response. After 3 months of this, i'll refer it to scamwatch

Scam. Got this 8-May-2020. "Hello this is customer service" and that's all they will say.

Replying to an email that I sent them - 2.5 months earlier!

Female called saying from coles and referring to an email they said I sent about changing or upgrading my account.... told them I did no such thing, and she said I may not remember, but I said firmly that I did no such things. She hung up...

They say they are coles financial services, but when i ring coles financial services advertised phone number, coles cannot identify that anyone has rung me, or that the number is one of theirs.
Possibly a scam?

I called back number (02) 8288 2471 spoke to a woman but did not hear the name of the company properly.
