Caller: PayPal A recorded message claimed that I had made a purchase through PayPal and that an amount of $299.39 would be deducted from my bank account, but if I wanted to cancel the order I could call back or press 1. I haven't, nor wouldn't, buy anything through PayPal. When are these scammers going to give up, or get caught? Fed up with them.

I called back number (02) 8279 8673 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

Got 2 calls from this number 1 minute apart. as soon as I answered, they hung up. I rang back out of curiosity, but just got "Thank you for calling, Customer Service will be with you shortly" then some music. I hung up and blocked the caller. Seems to be a scam of some type.
