Pretends to be a financial adviser and gives you a long explanation of how they can make you rich and save you money. When told I would look them up on the internet, caller says: "I've got a call coming through, I'ce got to go, I've got to go!" in a fairly panicking manner and hangs up.

4 x missed calls in 2 days and no message left, on call back user busy tone received.

Guys called and spoke about making you rich, when I showed no interest, he started abusing me with c words.

I called back number (02) 8279 8647 rang once then goes to busy tone.

make me rich he says. when I said go away and take me off your call list he got very abusive. swearing at me so disconnected call. He rang 21 more times that day

just answered my mobile from that number. Disturbing. There was a male voice swearing saying profanities and name calling fat something and continued with its all those donuts your eating and hung up.

Just received a call today . When I picked up, no one spoke and call got cut.
I called back immediately and line comes up busy.

Got miss called from (02) 8279 8647 number, didn't leave a message & user busy when I rang back. So I just blocked that number. I believe it's scam.

I had someone do the exact same spiel on me, bordering on American accent, when I asked how he got my number to Telemarket to, he said he wasn't cold calling me. I asked what the affiliation was with me and his company, he started getting angry, I told him in a not so polite way to leave me alone. I have blocked the number. Did anyone get the name of the place? I heard the word "exchange"....

Just got call. They seemed to know more about me than I would want anyone to know (and I don't use social media). Then I got the usual dribble, so I pretended it was a crackly line and hung up

I received the first of two calls from this number late last week- the first one a british sounding guy stating that he was taking time out from his corporate clients just to talk to me and he had this amazing offer., If I decided not to go through with it - we would simply part as friends......

They asked if I was ....................... I asked who is calling and they hung up. tried calling the number back but constantly busy.

Yes! Received a call. Asked was I ______. When I said yes! Hung up. When returned call to see who it was - a busy line every time. So decided to check out number on internet. Hope I can work out how to block this number also on my phone.

I must have blocked the number previously. Just got three call attempts in a row. My phone just buzzes for about a second then hangs up on them. Hopefully it cost them for each call.

I don't know how they got my number because I am on the do not call register. I have reported them so maybe this will stop.

Have had several calls from this number, tried calling back and get a busy tone. Decided to answer and when asked where they got my number they hung up.

Simialr to the experiances of other posting about this number, I got a call from a guy with a wankie English accent talking to me about finace and making money. When I didn't bite by stating I'm not interested, he became rude and got offensive, then hung up.

Don't get sucked into this sort of scam.

I wonder - if it was a sure-fire way to make money and get rich, then why are these people suck in a call centre on $18p/h trying to scam people!!
