Number not connected but should be Facebook

It's the number listed on the merchant details for an unauthorised credit card transaction for facebook ads. I received email from bank fraud department saying a transaction had been withheld due to it being a suspected fraud transaction, but then the following day the bank allowed a much greater amount transaction for the same merchant. Scammers using credit card details for scam facebook ads.

Caller: Illegal transaction

Took $199 out of my account the day before. Xmas, when I needed it the most. Somehow connected to Facebook. I have contested this transaction with my bank and have also had to cancel my card. Ruthless bloody scammers have ruined my Xmas completely

Facebook been withdrawing my money from my bank account and has withdrawn over $76.96 for unknown. never bought anything on Facebook at all and randomly 3 days money is coming out of my account and not just once 3 to 4 times day and it's bloody annoying 😒

I received a message from my bank telling me they had detected a fraudulent charge from "FACEBK" Spoke to fraud officer and was told that this number has been reported as a scam. My Facebook account was actually hacked a few days ago. Luckily they only took $4 from my bank account

$100 Visa card transaction for Facebook. I don't even have a Facebook account. Reported to Visa and card cancelled, bank notified.

Money taken out of my account, after my facebook account was disabled. The number was listed on my bank statement with a facebook Sydney address. When the number was traced it said invalid! The bank has taken all the necessary precautions on my behalf and is investigating, so lets see what happens.

Deducted close to $25 from my bank account. Reference was Facebook..
Very fake.

They took money from my bank account on two occasions. Same amount each time and disguised themselves as "facebook" with the deduction looking like VISA PURCHASE FACEBK 9MBPETBL22 fb.me/ads 16/10 IE.

They list this number to contact them as a "merchant" SCAM SCAM SCAM

Was charged $48.60 AUD and the card details come up with Facebook and this number.. ive never made a transaction on Facebook.. i have no idea what this is

They took 20$ from my account

Saw this number on my bank statement. It was for ads I placed on Instagram, I assume they are owned by Facebook.

Took $77.59 out of my bank account, shows up as something to do with Facebook which I havnt done so myself. Contacted bank and is being investigated.
Can't cal through to that number. 100% scam

This one was a scam and took $33 on my bank account

Says it’s Facebook hq in Sydney and has taken $10 out of my account

Stole 5.5k from my business account. Fraudulent transaction - claim they are from Facebook.

Two fraudulent credit card transactions by this mob claiming to be from Facebook. Over $7000 worth stolen from my business account. Bank notified.
