The person who called me (lady with indian accent) said she was from Telstra and she didn't want to sell anything to me and that and my internet has been compromised, when I replied that I knew it wasn't compromised and I wasn't interested in talking she started to scream over the phone "I'm a technician I'm telling you that is compromised". I just hang up

I answered the call, a message said all our agents are busy at the moment, stay on the line, we'll be with you shortly, I hung up and blocked.

Received a call from a lady with phillipino accent. She said she was from AGL and she had lots of information about me. Suggested I change to a cheaper gas account. She was able to provide correct information that applied to me. I later called AGL on their main line and it was correct that I was eligible for cheaper rates. Seems legit.

Caller: Claim to be AGL Don't know if it's legit...rambled on in a philipino tone very fast and hurried told me he/she was from AGL for discounts on my plan and offered internet and electricity deals with recorded disclosure statements at the end of every rant, asked for my licence number and medicare details. Couldn't get a word in sideways, said that they (AGL) would be sending an email to accept or decline offers. Initially it came up as scam on my caller ID 3 out of the 4 times they called today. I have no idea these days. Scam calls are out of control and AI is still at its infancy. Something needs to be done.

The male caller knew my first name and said they were from ASIO. Obvious scam.

Great, so it seems I'm going to get endless calls from this number again... Just received a call from this number after quite a few months. Last time I received them they called several times per day for weeks on end. They call endlessly and don't leave a message.

Caller: Claimed to be AGL May be a scam, claimed to be offering a discount from AGL. Strong Indian accent and asked questions about surname and confirmed email, didn't really know what account(s) I had. Could be recording voice for an AI scam. Either way was aggressive in persisting with a "great deal", clearly wanted to confirm my details but I hung up prior. Have blocked the number.

Caller: claimed to be AGL Claimed to be AGL, Strong Indian accent, was pushy, trying to sell me on a deal. I got suspicious when they asked me to pronounce my surname, this could be a scam recording voice and then using AI to impersonate. Either way I told them not interested and hung up while he aggressively asked me to compare rates with my current provider, I have blocked the number. Scammers can get stuffed, and I'm not interested in pushy telemarketers.
