It is the marketing team from AGL peddling Internet and Mobile phone plans to their customers.

Missed their call and phoned back.
Lady who was non English speaking background heavy accent. Said she’s from Agl. I asked why the reason for call. She said don’t worry I’ll find out.
Asked me my name then my account number. I said I don’t know. I could hear other ppl in the background and lots of typing like a call centre. Then tried her best to get my other details. I ended call pretty quick as I thought it’s strange for her to be so persistent in repeatedly asking me over and over again my Agl account number and other info.
Be careful everyone!

AGL had a data breach in December 2022, so a caller could know your phone number, name and AGL account details but not really be from AGL.

They have called me three times to push internet. I have asked them to stop calling me three times.

Called me twice today but won’t leave a message and when I phone back the recording tells me they are too busy to answer calls at the moment

Called me numerous times but never answered. And finally today answer the phone and she was trying to sell me internet service and mobile plan. I asked few questions and maybe she was annoyed or rack of knowledges, just hung up in the middle of conversation.

They are friendly, they knew my details as I am an AGL customer. I told them I wasn't interested. End of call. Not really spam. Drumming up business. If you're needing other questions answered about AGL they transfer the call

As soon as you say not interest they hang up immediately

Answered call, no one spoke. After about 30 seconds they hung up.

Same situation! Very Annoying AGL, sh*t

Received three calls from them in the space of five hours today. My phone does not take calls from them. Thanks for letting me know it’s AGL. I am an AGL customer.

I answered the call they say are from AGL my phone automatically terminated the call and cannot call them back.

Pretending to be Agl told them I wasn't Interested. Yet they still persist. Block the number if they won't stop that should do fix it .

3rd party company trying to upgrade my existing AGL gas/electricity to include other services.
Called 4 times, 3 times after I told them to delete my number of the list and not to call back.

You can block their number that will stop them

Received cold call from this number. Same as others have reported. Claiming to be from AGL and trying to push to sell you internet services. Just didn't sound right, so ignored.

Claimed to be AGL got angry when I didn't want what they were offering and hung up on me.
