Recently transferred to Red energy after 12 years with agl...no way am I paying a supply charge of $1.68/day (plus GST)...

Caller: "AGL"

Call came in from this number claiming to be from AGL. In order to verify my details they need me to confirm the e-mail address or supply address. I'm typically hesitant to give out personal details anyway, but I asked whether they needed the details for my personal or business connection, which they said they were unable to say as this was part of the verification process... So before hanging up I just told them that's fine and to stop wasting my time.

Same as all of the previous comments. I left them recently too. Blocked the number.

I was driving when the number show up on my phone, unknown caller so I'm guessing it's not important, didn't pick up. I just left AGL last week or so, transfer was completed two days ago....

Don't understand if they are offering a better rate to attract new customer, shouldn't the loyal customer be given priority for the rate, do you need to ask if you are saving us $$$

It's not a scam, it is AGL and they're wanting feedback as to why I was leaving them for another provider. They offered me a deal which had also been sent by email 2 days before. It's a call for customer retention. Easier to answer it if you can and tell them you've left because their prices are too high in comparison to others.

Called and did not leave a message. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Did just leave AGL for another electricity provider so maybe them based on the list of complaints detailed previously.

Seemed to be AGL. I recently left after a horrible experience with my internet and experienced bad customer service. The weird thing was they needed me to confirm my full name and address details before they could even tell me what they were calling about, seems fishy to me. I hung up.

I have received multiple calls from this number. Thanks to everyone that has posted updates and comments regarding this number. Much appreciated.

As per others comments, left AGL after massive plan increase. Called to see if a better deal was available, told to look on their website! So left them after 15 years. Missed the call from this number (not unhappy about that!) but bemused they think after treating their customers so shabbily they think they are a chance to claw them back!

Same here, I just signed up with Red Energy last week so leaving AGL. Got a call from this number first thing in the morning today

Picked up once but no response. Constantly calling, have had 3 times a day for last couple of days. Given the comments here, I too left AGL in the couple of days. How is it possible that they can call up given I'm on the do not call register.

AGL. Like many before me apparently, I tried in vain to get a better deal from them and they wouldn't budge so I left them for a better solar plan with rival company. They wanted me to switch back on a worse plan than I left with and tried to bribe me with a $100 credit. Lol try harder AGL.

I have left AGL 4 days ago so i guess looking at all the other remarks shows why we left the company, they were offering to save electricity on night times for $5.00 but they were actually only giving us the GST ex price but then charging us this back again so was a scam as we did not benefit out of it, I am now saving $480.00 a bill now swapping to another company

I recently left AGL as they stopped all promotions and increased the rates. Dramatically. I called several times before the end date to try and secure a change of plan but wasn’t helped at all. Now they call me. Too late.

I very recently switched from AGL too ... I didn't take the call from this number this morning, but previous comments are consistent.

Have to assume as from previous posts- it’s AGL. Left then to go elsewhere. Called and hung up
