Yep, recently bought tickets in Kids with Cancer raffle now here comes the phone calls. I have blocked the number and will no longer buy tickets. It is a worthwhile cause which is why I have a monthly payroll donation, and I HATE it when they call me as I feel mean if I say no, so now I have blocked the number and will no longer buy tickets. Shame as ticket sellers are generally volunteers and telemarketers are paid.

Kids with cancer, it's a monthly round of calls. Really annoys me. Their number waives a few up or down, but it's still them. Never leaves a message.

Had another (unsolicited) call from this number this morning on my cell phone. I NEVER - repeat - NEVER answer calls with "82" prefixes as I have found they are mostly charity trolls or nuisance calls. Kids With Cancer is a great cause and I'm happy to support them by buying tickets in their art unions directly; however I'm really annoyed that they pass on supporters' details to their call centre (which probably rips off a goodly amount of funds unwary punters provide, in the misguided belief that their money is destined for the charity.) The call centre rings at any time of day; phone rings a few times then they hang up without leaving a message - suss in itself IMHO; if they were fair dinkum they'd at least leave a voice message. Do what I've done, fellow "trollees" and block 'em!
