Regular calls from this number, followed by call from "Not Shown" number

Why would you send a fax to a mobile phone number!!!!

For Telstra customers call 1800 805 996 and request a call block.

Call 1800 808 232 and they will manually remove your number from their DB.

I just rang the number listed above and he said he would see what he could do but he may not be able to have it removed. Suggested I add it to the "do not call register" but as it's a business line I don't believe it's meant to apply, and I'd be surprised if it stopped the attempted faxes to my direct business number anyway.

Call 1300 136 022 and get taken off their database.

I think I am going to ring the companies that use these idiots and abuse them.

First I will try and find a company name then directors names, then directors addresses, then some follow up midnight messages tied to bricks.

I have also been receiving fax spam on our home phone number for the past 6 months. Only today did I get a return phone number by using *10# and a google of that phone number got me this website.

I've just got off the phone to "Tom" at UTS Box from the phone number mentioned above 1300 136 022) and he's promised to put our number (which is a home phone listed on the do not call register) on their "Global blocklist". Apparently, after 48 hours, I won't hear from any of their companies again. Fingers crossed!!

The 1300 136 022 number does work - I just had my number blocked by utbox.. turns out they don't have any lists as they're a telco network and from checking their website it's true they dont provide lists or any of that jazzthe operator said that their clients that use their network wont even know ive registered and my number will just appear as failed to them which suits me fine - they seemed helpful in adding my number to the blocklist though only time will tell if it works.In the meantime i checked out their website and turns out they seem to provide a fax to email service, so i signed up for one of those on a trial so if it works even if i do get spam it will be emailed to me instead of printed.... if only everything was as easy

Yep, Fax spam.  They probably should not have sent their caller id cos now i'm going to do my best to annoy them as much as they annoyed me.  Might take some of my time but thats ok.I'm sick of these spammers costing me money on paper and ink.

Been receiving calls from a spam fax for around 6 months - but until today always showed as a private number. long periods of time with no calls then a concentrated burst. Calls in the middle of the night - back to back during the day filling the answering machine. Very over it. FInally today - their number was displayed - (02) 8208 3200- and I have spoken with Telstra - apparently they are (as reported above) a marketing company that act as a hired service for other companies. Telstra have said they are with another carrier and have only an outgoing call service - no incoming calls for the company at all. Tempted to put on a fax and then complain to their clients about the abusive service.If anyone has found a solution to this issue please post their info up - would be much appreciated.
