Hangs up when you answer

Disconnected number when I call it back

Sydney number, woman introduced herself as a "Melbourne trading company", advised I had spoken to a colleauge previously about "trading". When I pushed about the company and colleauge I "had" spoken to previously, she hung up on me. Upon calling back, the number is disconnected. No opportunity to remove my contact number from the calling list. This number is a pest and I do not give consent to be contacted by anyone from this number!

Calls once a week. If I pick up female asks if its "my name". I counter asking if its a marketing call and they hang up. No idea where they got my number.

Missed call from (02) 8094 6208no message left.

Message that investigation is pending in crimes using my name and to avoid the arrest I should press 1 to talk the the officer

Caller: Queensland Information Service

Said they were tax consultants - asked many questions about my financial situation with the aim of reducing tax paid and mortgage. When questioned said 75% of Queenslanders are returning into poverty and they are an information service trying to reduce this. Asked if a tax consultant can call me back & when. Sounds dodgy. Avoid!!!

I’ve had 3 missed calls from this number today, I finally answered to see who it was, a guy said he’s calling from Information & Data Centre.
He called me by my ‘Nickname’ that my friends call me .... so that’s extremely creepy to say the least!
I asked what it’s regarding & he said they provide Free Tax Tips & Tricks for those under the age of 57, would that include you?
I said, No I don’t work!
He sounded shocked then said ‘well this won’t apply for you’ then hung up!

I’m also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER!

3 calls from this nbr @. same time over last 2days when i try to cal back get recoded message saying number is disconnected . So how can they call me then! Now blocked.

Claimed from National Retirement Services. Called me once with different number and I told her I was not retiring soon then a few weeks later called again with this number.

Spam scam.

Numerous phone calls over the past 3 days. I don't answer calls if I don't recognise the number. Tried calling back (and blocked my number beforehand), but that (02) number appears to be disconnected. Weird. I guard my privacy to the enth degree. Not impressed! My advice would be simply don't answer these calls - they should give up eventually!
