have called three times today, 2 voicemails with very loud backgrounds. They have my full name and do not know how. very annoying.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post their experiences. It means I can look here and see it is a nuisance call. I never answer numbers I don't know. After they have called I check the number here and then just block them straight away so they can't call back. Thanks Again Everyone. :-)

Guy who’d chosen the telemarking name of “Logan” rang me (obviously an x-men fan) saying he was from global contact partners asking if I had any types of insurance. I replied that I was good and politely hung up.

they keep calling

Yep, me too!. I let all unqualified phone calls ring out now, and search on sites like this before ringing back. If it is someone i know or need to talk to they get added to my contacts so their ID shows up next time they call. Otherwise they are not getting answered.
This number is going on my Block list.

insurance spam these people are pests

Have had them ring me 5 times in one day. Each time i miss the call but even if i didn't i wouldn't answer. Since reading these I've learnt that its best to not answer & just to block them straight away.

If someone was trying to get in contact with you, and it was important or urgent, they would leave a message.

I never answer calls from numbers I do not have in my contacts because I am getting calls from people selling stuff (especially insurance) several times every week atm. If it is someone who wants to talk, they leave a message, and I can decide if I return the call. Simple. If we all stopped talking to these companies, they would have to reconsider the whole cold-call system but someone must agree to buy their products...??? I have just never met anyone who does anything except get annoyed. Join me in never responding to this sort of marketing and maybe we can change the world... in a little (not very important) way.

Got a call from this number plus other similar numbers daily starting with 02 for the past 3 days. I don’t answer, didn’t leave a message, just keep blocking. Very irritating!

If you’ve used any online services, such as Compare The Market for insurances, then this is why you’re getting calls from all these different numbers- it’s a call centre used to hassle people into buying more insurances. Just block the number (more calls will come, just keep blocking!)
