This number has called me at least 3 times a day for the last 3 or 4 weeks but I haven't answered it because someone said it was a scam? I'm in Adelaide so I don't know why a NSW number would be calling so much and not leave a message.

Its telemarketing for insurance - most likely Commbank. Just don't answer
