Massive scam. I didn’t answer but got a voicemail. It was a robot, Steven Hawking-type voice saying I need to ring back on the number ASAP otherwise an arrest warrant will be put out for me and I’ll be arrested

Called me in a robot voice about a taxation office and if I don’t call there will be a warrant for my arrest, pretty sure it’s a scam.

the message is awful and says that you will be arrested if you don't ring them back. I am mortified that people out there are so awful. I have a 77 year old mother who has been scammed by people like this and I am really sick of them.

Got the exact same message Eiren mentioned. What do they have to gain by doing that? Even if we were to call back?

Tax office scam. They say a law suit has been put under my name and to call back ASAP and talk to the robot voice. well you have now been blocked. Watch out guys

Same here. The voice mail sounds very robotic and does not even mention my name. Must be a scam.!

I got the same thing today from this number robot type voice saying to call back asap or an arrest warrent will get put on me and ill be arrested.

Caller: Indian guy claiming to be from the ATO

I called back from the automated message without thinking but once he told me he was from the ATO and if I didn't give him my details his response was to threaten me with arrest from the AFP I knew it was a scam. Number reported to scamwatch website
