This came up on an email as a purchase for $199 . I have no idea what or who it is?

Caller: I’ve recieved 3 emails

Yes I had a email 3 times this week to say pay pal has been charged $216 for something they reckon will be delivered on the 28th of this month
But I have not ordered anything from any one
I checked my PayPal account n there’s been no such transaction .
Do I need to be worried that they may try n take this money from my account ???

I also received an email for an unknown purchase. When you call (02) 8091 1673, it tells you "Welcome to PayPal". They are not PayPal. Almost certainly this is a scam.

I received an email from a company called PCTech with a purchase order for $234 and this contact number. I have no idea who it is either.

they sent me a email saying my purchase was complete & the money was sucsessfully debited by paypal,i tried to call the number & it rings once then silence,i have no idea who thet are

Yes, the exact same thing happened for me - I got a strange email saying to check my order details. The order was for 'Purchased item (1)' for an amount of $199 + $10 delivery and handling + $5 sales tax. Total of $214. I have no idea what this is supposed to be for. This number was in the email, but I'm not sure if it is safe to call. Email was received yesterday 26th April.

Same, I had a scam email saying had been charged $216 from some group called Omni Retail at 70 Mt Berryman Road, Gatton College,

Queensland 4345, Australia and it had this phone number. Did not receive a call but worth knowing this is potential scam phone number.

Received an email from PCTech24. This number was listed to ring to renew my account. I have never had anything to do with them. Googled the company and many many SCAM reviews.

definitely scammer trying to trick you.
