I received a prank call.  Hung up before I could answer.  Tried to call number back it is disconnected????

Hello I have just had a call from (02) 8090 2200 i said hello and know answerif i listened carfully it sounded like a phone call centerwhat gets me is that when i did a seach on the web for the phone number there is heeps of hits saying the same thing and the phone carriers don't disconect it. If you or i called as may people your phone would disconected.time of call 6:38pm Qld Time 16-3-2009

I have been getting calls up to five times a day at work and when I answer I get fax beeps in my ear. It is driving me crazy. I was considering getting Telstra to trace the calls but it looks like that is a waste of time from previous comments. Glad I haven't been getting male voices.

Had a call from this number at 6:30pm tonight.  An Indian-accented gent who knew my surname proceeded to tell me that my computer was sending a lot of error messages and was having a lot of problems (it isn't), and that he could fix it for me "right in front of me".  I hung up before I could work out what he was selling.Beware!

I am on the do not call register however I still recieved a call from this number . The caller said they were from a mobile phone company Ascom. I told them they are not supposed to call me because I am on the register and they said sorry and hung up. Thats when my son said look up their number on the internet and this is the result. Be very wary.
