It's now December and they're still at it. I just recieved the scam this morning in Chipping  Norton NSW.Can't somebody stop them?

Got a fax claiming to be from Office of Public Affairs regarding entry in Who's Who in Australia; requests details to be faxed to them so i can be entered into the Who's Who. meant to fax back to (02) 8078 6030.complete sham.  Who's Who do not do things this way: if it seems too good to be true, it generally is.  So don't touch it.  I am thinking of ditching our fax these days because there are so many rubbish faxes coming through.Who's Who have said it is a sham originating they think from overseas.

Got one of these faxes today. The real who's who actually state on their website now that a real letter will have the Crown details at the top due to this scam.

I received the fax today from Jennifer Collins (Editor). I googled the number as well and read the West Wyalong Public School Newsletter. The fax number is for: Office Bland Shire Council, PO Box 305, West Wyalong NSW 2671,fax: (02) 8078 6030 Seems a bit dodgy
