I have been getting calls from this number. If I pick up there is nothing on the other end, and if I don't pick up they hang up within 5 or 6 rings. I am on the "do not call" register.

I find it annoying to get any type of telemarketing call when my number is private,therefore unlisted and i pay extra on my bill each month for that private number so how do they get the number??

We've got one tonight. They just hung up when picked up. Keep getting these over and over. Grrr

Yes, it is a telephone "Chugger" - a Charity Mugger calling from this number. When will this form of uninvited, unwelcome, intrusive charity cold calling stop! Don't they get it! When these Chuggers call us, we inform them that we are on a do not call list for a reason, and that is - that we do not want to be disturbed at home! We know that charities are unfortunately exempt but, we also mention that our strict policy is that we never give to any charity that disturbs us at home, now or in the future, they are blacklisted from that point on. We mean it, and it works. It usually means that we never hear from them again.

PLEASE NOTE that the annoying calls are from 02 prefix Sydney call centre but this listing shows a Broken Hill number and name which is legitimate, prefix 08, and this poor person could take flack from this error.

yes missed calls - right on 7:30pm again....

The number (02) 8088 4051 called again this morning but hung up after barely three rings - definitely not long enough for me to answer it. They seem to be ringing weekly. I rang it back and it was the Heart Research crowd ringing up to sell raffle tickets. The thing that annoys me is that not only are we on the Do Not Call list but our number is not listed.

I returned the call and it went to the Heart Research Institute

I answered the phone just now for this number and it was a charity - Heart Research or something like that.  Selling tickets for a holiday to Hayman Island.

Received 3 hang up calls from this number today. Its annoying.

I called this number & got a recorded Msg from the Royal Institute for Deaf & Blind Children. I'm fed up with these 'no one there' calls. We're asked by Telstra to provide nuisance call numbers when possible but nothing gets done.

Got a call from this number today too, they hang up when answered.
