Still at it calling QLD, didn't pickup.
Gaz
I have some missed calls from (02) 8088 1400 - I like to see who it is that's calling - hence I have arrived here...
I love it when telemarketers and uninvited people call wanting something, i've taken to abuse, it's so much more fun for me. And hey, if I'm going to be bothered daily then I might as well have some fun with it. I hope someone quits after a call to me, that would be awesome.
'Thankyou i'm not interested' and 'Please don't call me again' just don't seem to work anymore.
The bottom line is - Do not call me unless you know me, or you are fair game.
The point is - it's like letting yourself into someone's home - you just don't know who's home it is and what sort of person they might be.

i love your call centre
Apparently the phone monkey I spoke to last time didn't remove me from the call database as I started getting the mysterious calls again today.
Silence with lots of chatter in the background. I don't like this screening method.
Called the (02) 9215 1600 number and spoke to a very bubbly Emma, she listed the charities I have been called on behalf, confirmed that name and details (uhh, that's suspicious imo..)
Just saw your post about paranoid retards 'insight worker'. Funny :D
Two (apparent) Insight workers, one insinuates that a person is deprived of intelligence for having a difference of opinion. The other blatantly calls someone a 'retard' for wanting to know who's be continuously calling their home phone. Resorting to name calling of the very people you are harrassing for money? It's us that do the name calling, not you.
The irony struck me as humorous because you guys (or are you the same person?) are supposed to be charity workers?? Understanding, unlimited patience etc etc aren't these some of the traits that go with that territory? I will, in future, refrain from abuse and loosen the purse strings immediately.
I'm sure the charities hold their champions dear, but really you should be leading by example.

This number calls 3-4 times a day. I answered the phone this morning and they introduced themselves as The Kids Wish Foundation

Actually if the charity was intelligent they would realise if you are on the DO NOT CALL register it wouldn't be to their benefit to call you.
Also ringing via automated systems is counter productive. I know I would NEVER donate to anyone who cold calls me.
Look at different technology and you might actually get a better respond. I really don't see why I need to ring a number to not to be called when I am already on the DO NOT CALL register.
I know the law says charities can ring anyone but anyone with a brain would realise that ringing people on the DO NOT CALL register would be counter productive.
