Caller "Optus", but was a woman from India
Offering a 40% discount. I told her it was Direct Debit so they could just go ahead with that. She then asked me for date of birth. I told her it was on record, and if she did not know that, I really did not know who I was talking to, and hung up.

Caller: Recd email from Admin @ optus.com.au

Email said my phone was detected in Indonesia and I had to call this number to disable roaming. I am not an Optus customer (but was a former customer), so rang Optus who had no idea.

Emails were professional and from Optus address.

Caller: Scammers that told me I would be paying for roaming.

Scammers pretending to be Optus, sending me a message that I would be charged for roaming

Pretend Optus. Very realistic.

Reported to be Telsta with a promotion offering 50% discount on my monthly bill. Asked for my date of birth.

called multiple times until i pick up the phone. ask me am i someone, call out my name directly. then just hand up.

Called 3 times back to back until i blocked the number. Didn't know who it was or what they wanted

Someone kept calling me from by number. I didn't pick up and blocked it

Keep ringing more than 3 times until I answer the call, then someone just speak Chinese directly, I just hang up

A Mandarin speaking guy rang to ask me how I feel about Optus monthly fee plan. Told him don't call me again, called me again through this number.

Caller: i don't know

Received 15 messages from same this number regarding Optus and International roaming activated.

Caller: Allegedly Optus

Said he would offer me a big discount for the next 6 months. Despite doubting what he was telling me was truthful, I could barely hear him, so I terminated the call.

Multiple Scammy calls from Telstra / Optus etc

Caller: Telstra rep?

Offering a bill discount. Phone said it was Optus but were asking about Telstra acc. I hung up.

Caller: Indian lady

A lady called advising she was from Optus billing department and she wanted me to give her my date of birth and my 6 digit access code. I asked her what my name was and she couldn't advise this but she had all of my details. SCAM

Caller: Fake "Telstra"

Said they were Telstra and offering a 50% discount, then started asking for my personal details. SCAM!

Had the same called today, same story, she is definitely reading off a script. Said no thank you and hung up.

Caller: Supposedly OPTUS.

I received two SMS messages supposedly from OPTUS telling me to ring this number to activate international roaming because according to them I had just activated my phone in China. lolwot? I am not in China. I don't use OPTUS and have never used OPTUS.

Offered a discount from optus. Sounded dodgy. Hopefully they don't hack me!
