Many voice mails say press 1. I called the number it says Coles Mastercard but the auto service says it can’t identify my mobile number but they called me on it. I do have a coles Mastercard but they want me to give them all my ID on the phone and not sure if it’s a scam do told them no

Claims to be Coles. Seems unlikely as why would a FS company set up an automated service we would all think is a scam? Therefore, likely a scam.

If it is CFS, it implies the Directors and Officers are extremely stupid as this isn't appropriate duty of care for financial services in 2024. It has all the hallmarks of a scam. Pressing 1 may get you through to a premium payline.

It IS Actually COLES FINANCIAL SERVICES. I often get Calls from them when I overlook a Payment (because the Due Date for My Payment changed earlier this year, and I keep forgetting about it). They use an Automated Service to Contact You and let you know that Your Payment hasn't been made on the Due Date. They say Your Name and ask if it IS You Speaking to Press 1. They then say the Amount that is OVERDUE, and say 'If You Have Paid Within The Past 3 Days, Please Press (I think it's 1)' : Then they say 'If You Can Pay Within The Next 3 Days, Please Press (I think it's 2)'.

This is a genuine number - Coles Customer Service, they confirmed their details, updated my details, and I confirmed via a call back.
