Caller: Oliver

A Brit named Oliver claiming to be calling from the NAB of two highly suspicious attempted transactions that were rejected.. his number actually came up as anonymous and I asked him his name, contact number and the business he was calling from.. I could hear a call centre with a lot of others talking in the background. I couldn't understand him properly at times so kept asking him to repeat.. he claimed that $90000 Energy One Ltd and $22000 AA Motors Ltd were attempting to be made.. He gave me a reference number FR93324 and said it was within the last 30 minutes... He claimed I need to ring the NAB number in Sdy of (02) 8074 2001 . I told him a couple of times that his call sounds highly suspicious.. He then told me to ring the number.. I asked what this reference number was.. I then asked for the ABN number of this NAB Sydney branch he was ringing from.. He repeated to ring the number and I replied that I will be talking to the business owners before I ring any number.. (knowing he was gammon).. the call then ended.. two minutes later there's another änonymous" phone call.. it was Oliver again asking for Accounts Payable.. and mentioned the same names/amounts.. I said Oliver I have just been talking to you for the past several minutes.. the call ended abruptly again... he hasn't rang back again the dumba... !!!

NAB Connect (02) 8074 2001 Reference 55378008. 2 payments have been flagged, restrictions have been put in place and cannot make or receive payments. We don't have an account with NAB.

Same experience as other complaints regarding this number.
We don't have accounts with NAB and exact same spill about Energy One Ltd and AA Motors Ltd

Domenic claimed to be from NAB Connect, said he wanted to speak with Accounts Payable. I said fine speak to me. He said there was suspicious transactions on our company's account for $25K to AA Motive and $90K to Energyone, and they seemed suspicious as they were made from Darwin. When pressed for account information he would not supply but gave a reference number NAB23018. I said I could not do anything without a reference to a specific account. I said is it a credit card, bank account and if so which one? He said that is was made online. I said, great from what account, I need something for the directors. When I said that I would need something to take to the directors, he said to get them to call back on (02) 8074 2001. I said that I would not use that number as I could not verify him or where he was from or the number he was offering. We ended the call.

Received call from "NAB Connect" asking for accounts payable claiming 2 payments (1 from Energy One and 1 from AA Motors) needed approval to be deposited into our account.

Rang claiming to be from NAB Connect Payments and that someone had used our credit card in another state. We don't have any accounts with NAB.
