Caller: Scam - claims to be vodafone

"Specialist" from Vodafone who claimed that my number was now eligible for a plan upgrade with a free latest phone. Have only just upgraded and real Vodafone would know that.

This number has called me everyday since mid-January 2021!!!..... I've not answered it due to calling me whilst I'm working but the 3 times that I have answered the call, there is no response from the other end of the line.....just silence

This number has called us 8 times since 21/01/21. No voicemail. To ring this many times
I would say Scam. I would recommend not even to ring the number back....

Claims to be Vodafone and wanting me to upgrade my plan to get the new Iphone 12.
I called Vodafone and they confirmed that it was not them calling from the number (02) 8074 1100.
When I called this number back a recorded message fraudulently states that it is Vodafone Business Centre at Crows Nest.

Three minutes message on voicemail of silence and some strange noises like sniveling and burping. When I called back the service was 'temporarily unavailable'

Claiming to be Vodafone and offering a new plan with FREE phone. Sounded too good to be true and the alarm bells went off when he asked me to confirm my address, at which point I requested that he tell me the address they have on file for me. He couldn’t come up with it. Said his system was down. Sure!
I asked him to call me back when his system is up and running again. That was yesterday; still no call back. Haha!
I called Vodafone to confirm whether they actually had this dealing going and was told that they didn’t.
Definitely a scam, people. Don’t give them any personal details.
