Long pause before they answered, woman who could barely speak English who knew my name. Asked where she got my name from and she hung up. Sick of these illiterate half wits from Australia Life Points calling.

Number rang. I answered. They hung up. I blocked the number. Thanks for this service. Confirms what I suspected.

You need a more accurate call type: Criminals. A scam is a type of fraud.

Scam

A heavily accented woman (who knew my name) asked me what I thought of the current inflation rate. I declined to answer as I did not want to engage in what is surely a scam (it didn't sound like a legitimate market survey company to me). Asked that I be removed from any contact list as I am on the Do Not Call register and she hung up.

MY Voice mail message is," You have called the ASIO anti Scam line Please stay on the line so that we may trace your number." My friends know I'm joking anyone serious will send a message.

Called me. Pause before speaking. Woman with foreign accent asked to speak with me. I screamed very loudly into my phone microphone and hung up. Pleased to see my hunch was correct. Hope she got an ear ache.

When is Australia going to put a stop to these overseas scam calls??? Telecomminications have declined here in Australia, Just like our governments have declined and are all about themselves. Nobody cares anymore, not many are honest anymore especially in governments as well as telecommunication
