I called back number (02) 8064 5021 reached voice mail for a company called Cape Life.

Yes I believe this number is connected to a charity via an on line competition. They have been calling me everyday for over a week.
No more on line comps for me!

This is for Care Flight Children's charity. When you call back you are answered by a automated message that offers you to enter the number they called you on not to receive any further calls

they keep calling me too and yet hang up as soon as I answer the phone.

When I called up the nice automated man said it was Careflight and I was then put through to a live person. I asked her to remove our number from her list, as we had been contributing for quite a while in the past, but now wanted to direct our charity dollars elsewhere. She asked if they could ring me say in 6 months and I declined. She accepted this graciously, and now I think I am off the hook. We'll see

I think they got me through the same competition. Been receiving calls every single day and had to block them.

I don't enter competitions so I don't know how they got my number. Anyway I just blocked it on my mobile.

i entered a competition for careflight in the northern territory. they did send an email telling me someone would call to talk to me about donating. if you enter a competition, even if you are on the do not call register, you give them your phone number and the t & c's will tell you that they or associated companies may call you.
