Caller: I called them This is the valid CBA fraud prevention team for Commbiz. They identify you by sending a message through your personal Netbank app. I went through the number on the CBA website and the return number they provided was (02) 8055 4730 The other poster may have been getting scammed from someone spoofing this number. I suggest you look up the CBA contact centre online and get them to put you through directly. Slower but safer.

Caller: Scammer pretending to be working for CBA Scammer pretending to be from the Commonwealth Bank – telling me there is a payment on hold and needed all my personal details. I don’t even bank with CBA. Beware!
