got a call from a fundraising company on this number (02) 8053 9529

My advice to all: Get yourself a landline phone with caller ID and get your telephone service provider to enable caller ID on your line. Only pick up calls you know and if unsure don't pick up. You can always google the number to check and decide whether to ring back. .

Caller: Supposedly a fund raiser

When I called back, a recorded voice said "the call you missed was from a charity, they will ring you back" Well Don't Bother as I DO NOT deal with charities or businesses over the phone... The only dealings I do over the phone is if I know them and ring them. If anybody rings me claiming to be from my supplier xxxxxx then I always ask them 1. What is my full name. 2. What is my mailing address and 3. What is my account number with you. If they cannot answer all those questions then I tell them to Pxxs off!

Called twice after I hung up. As I dont answer numbers I don't know. Read the comments on this site and blocked them.

No-message calls on 14 and 18 May and 2 june.

I let the call go to message bank. The message left was an Australian lady saying 'Hello, hello, can you hear me?' She didn't say who she was or where she was from. If it was a legitimate business calling they would have left that information.
Look up the number on internet and found these complaints.

The call I had appeared to be a recording with appropriate pauses to make me think they were listening. I tried to ask some questions, but the caller went on talking over me and it was then that I twigged. They got as far as reading out the amounts I could donate to Your Community before I hung up.

This caller hangs up on answer. I've taken to answering as "Oh, more scammers"

Yes, same here - called 7.20 pm but as soon as the answering machine clicked in they hung up.

Call constantly. Yes seem to be trying to find people who donate regularly.

I just picked up the phone without saying anything and after a delay this womans voice started a long talk without acknowledging me at all. I suspect it was a robot.
