I have been getting a call from this number a couple of times a day on my mobile. They hang up as soon as I answer.

Claimed calling from Optus .... I'm Optus customer couldn't answer my questions when I asked them about my account they claim couldn't access my details .... computer down.

called today and when i answered they asked how may they help me and hung up when i told them they called me.

They call me everyday on my landline but because its a number I don't know, I've never answered. They persistently called twice today, and after looking through reports, it seems to be an optus telemarketer.

Had a call recently from this number - claimed to be from Optus and was doing a survey about my experiences with the Optus service plans I had with them. At one point they asked me to go over through my account details - I didn't proceed further as I couldn't identify whether this was a legitimate call. Even if it was, why was there a need to go over my account details for something I did not call up on?
