Caller: Optus NBN Optus left voice message trying to sound as if it was urgent that I connect to the NBN, whereas the letter I have just received from the NBN say that I won't be disconnected till January 17, 2020. so check with the NBN first before doing anything, they also have a list of providers for your area which may be cheaper than Optus. www.nbn.com.au

Unless you're on cable. If you're out of contract, Optus can kill that before the copper service that NBN are talking about...
