turned out to be a legitimate call from AMP, when challenged to provide proof, the caller gave me a 1300 number to call and also sent an email to the email address they had on file which I received.

This guy claiming to be from DHL called me speaking Chinese and tried to convince me that I shipped something illegal and was stopped by the Chinese customs. He hang up when I call him a scammer.
