The second call from that number recently. I recognised the number and just grinned. Do they really think I would answer a call from a number I know nothing about?

That was on the mobile. On my home phone I have a recorder. I never pick it up if it rings. Unwanted callers don't leave a message. Once a week I just press delete to get rid what has accumulated during the week.

I guess this lot will try again in a day or two. Most the time I am not near the mobile . I mention it again if there is another try.

I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise. Last time I visited Berry must have been over 15 years ago. It was more passing through on the way further south. I certainly did not leave my mobile phone number there. Well at least it wasn't a call from Nigeria or some other place known as a source of scam calls.
It is only Thursday and I wonder what other rubbish will turn up before the week is over.

Hangs up after you answer. Calls and calls without leaving a message; likely checking if phone number is still active before targeting you with scams.
