Claimed to be from Telstra to let me know that the international internet hackers had hacked my internet, but was unable to advise why Telstra would be calling me about that.

Claiming I've been hacked, one I don't own a computer and I'm not even on telstra... Big scam just after your ID to scam you out of your money

the person who called claimed he was from Telstra and said my computer was hacked and they can see my customer base !! well my computer is for personal use no customer base on my computer. The guy on the phone got aggressive when l told him that and l had security on my computer and l hadn't been notified through my security !! He couldn't prove he was from Telstra and then he was practically yelling at me !!! so l hang up.

Claiming to be from Telstra claiming internet has been compromised/hacked, asking if I do internet banking. Scam. I called Telstra who had no record of anyone calling me. More alarming is that my phone line has had no dial tone for several weeks and was surprised phone rang unable to place a call or receive so how they were able to scares me.

Rings my number couple times a day. When I answered no one spoke. Tried ringing it back a few times and it just rings out or busy.
Reading the comments here it is a scammer.

Had name, address and phone number. Don't give them any information. If they need to tell you something they go through your retailer.

Keeps ringing but doesn’t leave a message

Number called , I didn’t answer , went to voicemail but they didn’t leave message

Answering machine vets all calls; calls from these numbers only occasionally leave a message, almost always recited by a robot. If not, then obviously a scam. Ignore.

Tried telling me that my family had given away my internet passwords to scammers/ hackers & that they had received notifications that our internet was under attack. I told them that we were a business & then they hung up.

Today 4.10. Didn’t answer

Nicole from NBN. Threatens to turn off your internet unless you press 1 to speak to a technician. I get up to five calls from this number every day and have now switched my phone to the answer machine.

claimed to be Telstra technical support and claimed that someone was trying to hack my connection. I accused him of being a scammer and he hung up on me.

HE SAID THERE WAS SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON MY INTERNET BUT WHEN I SAID
I GET THIS CALL EVERYDAY, BUT NEVER FROM MY PROVIDER HE CUT OFF..

Have called the house phone twice today and not left a message.

Missed call indicator showed call from this number.
No message left.

Claimed to be Telstra and wanted me to Log onto my PC to protect me from fraudulent computer hackers. When I asked him to remove my details from his register, he said he would have to disconnect me do do that, so I said OK, and then he hung up.
