Caller: (02) 8027 2186 Strong Indian accent. Claims he's from Coles Mastercard and Citibank has taken it over. Wants to confirm my postcode, also to confirm that I did not work for any government agency eg Politician, Public Service, Defence Force etc. Did not try to ask any personal or financial details. VERY suspiscious

Very similar to the call on July 10 noted above. Mine was received on 21 July and I was charged for calling the number back, which I didn't. Telstra is investigating, whatever that means.

Caller: Man Had 3 phone calls one after the other on 2 mobiles and landline. Man said he was named Sudan(?) and wanted to speak to (gave initials and surname) and was calling re Coles MasterCard. I didn’t allow him to say more as I told him we didn’t have such a card. He apologised and rang off. Where do these people get old records?

Caller: man said he was from Citi that had taken over Coles mastercard. I have had a few calls from them and i don't have the card
