Calls repeatedly. Called back but call ends before it rings. Don't know who this is?!!!

received a call from (02) 8020 5507, old guy claimed to be from the federal police state police and local police communications centre. starter to make small talk (I thought he was a sales rep selling advertising ) anyway he started by saying he has a family, I replied yes so do I, he then added "yeh I have two girls 9 and 11" he then asked about my family. I told him "I wasn't going to talk about my family and asked him why he called me". he didn't answer so I repeated my self asking why he had called me. He responded " if your not going to talk to me about your family it doesn't matter." and hung up.
I have tried repeatedly to call with out any success.
