I missed a call from this one today. After looking up their details on this website and seeing your comments, I've blocked their calls. Recently I entered a contest through a company I've dealt with many times, and specifically chose an option not to be contacted by third parties. Since then i'm being bombarded with calls like this one. I now refuse to answer calls and come directly to this site to look up the numbers from missed calls.

This number called me for the 3rd time yesterday and I called it back to get their voicemail. They are the World Animal Protection. It said if I want to stop receiving calls to leave my number which i did. (I already donate to 3 animal charities and cannot afford anymore) Today they called for the 4th time. I answered it and spoke to a fairly unfriendly woman today. I told her I had left my number to not receive calls. Immediately she was abrupt to me so I gave her the feedback that appears on this page. I said people are complaining online because you are repeat dialing numbers then not leaving messages. I said that this gives a good charity a disadvantage because people want to know why someone is repeatedly calling them... particularly these days. She was not impressed with the feedback, went silent, and then abruptly ended the call. I was very friendly in my tone and in no way blamed her or the charity. I guess she may be having a bad day but I was seriously hoping the feedback would make her job easier and raise more money for the charity!

I called back number (02) 8020 1206 reached IVR for the World Animal Protection.

I didn’t answer but checked here to see who was calling . No more , I’ve blocked them .

So much for the f*cking DO NOT CALL register. 5 calls just today and it’s 0930.5-7 everyday. Block number and they use a different one

Very annoying to get calls during work. They keep Phoning ! Blocking does not help as they phone from different numbers.

This number very annoying, always a few time ringing then hand up. I have blocked tha number, not sure where did they get my mobile number

Yes I did recieve this exact number call and I get these calls all the time from this number and other numbers as well but because it costs me if I answer the call it chews my money up, and I don't know the number that comes up on my phone I don't answer it. But I get them day after day week after week and it gets me really annoying like I don't go punching numbers into my phone and calling random people's numbers at all I find it incredibly annoying and I don't want this calls to keep happening..

They called to a friend's phone number asking for me saying it was from the W A P. Where do they get the phone numbers? and in my case someone else's phone number? it is weird!

I love the work they do but ringing everyday without leaving a message would annoy most people resulting in people not donating. World Animal Protection needs to leave a message if they get a voicemail saying who they are and why they are ringing. After all you cannot trick someone into donating money. They either want to, or they don't. Just be straight up.

They actually spoke to me - it is a world animal protection; they are looking for donations to help arangatangs (not sure of spelling) in Borneo & Indonesia

they ring a couple of times a day, only rings a couple of times.... never leave message. Ignoring calls but their persistance is now winning any friends
